The lows have been in the low 40's here in South Carolina, which has gotten old quickly . Maybe global warming isn’t so bad...

The locusts are working over in Africa, so we have most of the apocalypse.

You at least have a great view there in that first pic. (I can sympathise with
how old
snow would be at this point)

Were bouncing between days of 70s ?as it should be for Virginia in may) and days of windy, overcast, and 50s, which is late February or March. We had frost a day or so ago! If I had snow I'd apoplectic

the snow will stop falling when the space rocks start

Y eah, the view is awesome. But I like sitting on the porch on a warm evening watching the sunset with a beer... not huddled in front of the wood stove IN FUCKING MAY.

This works.

I mean, this is a less historically aberant spring for this area... if you go back 100 years. T hough it would still count as a “late snowfall” even by those standards. The yo-yo effect from reduced emissions is really quite the thing. Not a nice thing.

Where’s global warming when you need it.

L ong term survivability must still be considered. Global warming at the current rate is NOT long term survivable. This is only annoying.

O n a yo-yo string from the temporarily reduced emissions coupled with greater overall atmospheric energy.

You should be standing in front of a green screen waving your arms at cold fronts. You have the lingo down.

As someone from a historically frozen hellscape that is having fairly nice weather right now, I feel bad for you.....but not TOO bad.

Our weather swung from low-90s from Friday through the weekend to low-50s/high-40s and heavy rain starting yesterday evening. Most extreme change I think I’ve ever seen since moving here (our weather changes are usually quite gradual and the rain erratic).
The low emissions from few flights and less activity overall has seemed to be affecting the weather since not long after this started.
